After a Brief Dip Into Winter

Was a cold night last night and very foggy morning. On the way into work this mroning, I could see nothing of downtown from Cresent Road except the lights around Eau Claire. Ten minutes later, on the other side of the river, stars were showing. Strange, weatherwise.

Byron and I ran the long zoo. Great day, and lots of people out. What snow was on the paths is beginning to melt in the sun, though there was the occasional icy spot. We both pulled back a little and enjoyed the scenery.

Today's run:
Distance: 6.89 km. Time: 38:24. Average speed: 10.8 kph.

Weather: Partly cloudy and -2C, although the cloud never came between us and the sun.
